You’ll manage bi-weekly payroll processes for both salaried and hourly employees while maintaining high standards of data accuracy.
The role combines payroll administration, employee support, reporting, reconciliation, and compliance activities.

Accountabilities
- Manage full-cycle bi-weekly payroll processing for salaried and hourly employees across multiple states.
- Process weekly multi-state timesheets and generate accurate payroll-related reports.
- Maintain and update payroll spreadsheets, reconciliations, and recurring reports on weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly schedules.
- Audit and update employee records within the HRIS to ensure payroll data remains accurate and complete.
- Prepare year-end payroll documentation, including W-2 forms, and support required government filings within statutory deadlines.
- Manage 401(k) contributions and reconcile them against payroll registers.
- Act as a key point of contact for employee payroll questions, providing timely assistance or directing inquiries to the appropriate resources.
- Support special payroll, HR, and process-improvement projects as needed.
- 2–4 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
- Solid understanding of U.S. payroll regulations and state employment laws.
- Experience with payroll platforms such as ADP; familiarity with Workday or Deltek Vantagepoint is an advantage.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail when handling sensitive payroll information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Experience working as part of an HR team is preferred.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- FCP or CPP certification is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to respond professionally and effectively to employee inquiries.
- Competitive salary of $55,000–$60,000, with final compensation based on experience, education, professional credentials, internal equity, and location.
