Job Title: Internal Communications Business Partner

Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire | Initial contract through mid-2026

Pay: $44.00 – $45.00 per hour(Estimated conversion salary: $95,000 – $100,000 annually, based on experience)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (40 hours per week)

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Description:

The Internal Communications Business Partner will lead internal messaging and engagement efforts across a North American workforce. This role focuses on developing communication strategies, creating compelling content, and partnering with leaders to ensure employees are informed, connected, and aligned with organizational priorities and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an internal communications strategy that supports business and people initiatives
  • Create and distribute engaging content across internal channels such as email, newsletters, intranet, presentations, and multimedia
  • Partner with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to support communications for projects, change initiatives, and organizational updates
  • Ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment of messaging across the organization
  • Collaborate with global communications partners to align messaging across regions
  • Measure communication effectiveness and recommend improvements based on feedback and analytics
  • Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and relevant messaging
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, internal events, and cultural programming
  • Assist with time-sensitive and sensitive communications as needed
  • Manage and continuously improve internal communication tools and platforms
  • Partner with HR and Marketing teams to strengthen internal messaging and employer brand

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or related fields
  • Strong writing and editing skills with experience creating content for internal audiences
  • Proven ability to collaborate with leadership and diverse stakeholder groups
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with internal communications best practices and engagement strategies

Preferred:

  • Experience in nonprofit or philanthropic organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field

Additional Details:

  • Fully remote role with Eastern Time Zone work hours required
  • Occasional travel (2–3 times per year) for team or company meetings
  • Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential
