UX Designer (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft. Summary This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the user experience of critical internal tools that empower business planners and marketing teams across one of the world's leading technology companies. Working within a collaborative environment, you will be responsible for designing intuitive workflows and interfaces that transform complex manual processes into streamlined automated solutions. Your designs will directly impact how pricing information is surfaced and managed for a comprehensive product portfolio, including cloud services. This fully remote role allows you to work from any U.S. time zone while contributing to high-visibility projects that support enterprise-level business operations. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into elegant, user-centered design solutions that enhance efficiency and usability for internal stakeholders. Job Responsibilities

• Design high-quality user experience workflows and interface screens using Figma for new automated pricing capabilities
• Engage with business development teams and stakeholders early in the project lifecycle to understand business problems and goals
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine design feasibility within project constraints
• Translate written requirements and documentation into effective, intuitive design solutions
• Present and defend design work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure design specifications are properly implemented
• Create and maintain design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency
• Conduct user research and incorporate feedback to iterate on designs
• Develop prototypes and mockups to communicate design concepts effectively
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented designs and recommend improvements

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in UX/UI design
• Proven experience designing user interfaces for technology companies
• Portfolio demonstrating successful design projects and outcomes
• Experience working with business planning or enterprise tools preferred
• Background in designing for complex data visualization or pricing systems is advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related technical field
• Expert proficiency in Figma with minimum 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience
• Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate design decisions to diverse audiences
• Exceptional ability to comprehend and translate complex requirements into user-centered designs
• Experience in software design and development processes
• Professional UI development experience with focus on data-driven interfaces
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Advanced problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
• Understanding of user experience principles and best practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining team connectivity

Additional Details

• Location: Remote
• Duration: 5 months
• Pay Range*: $50 - $57 per hour
• Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
• Job Status: Non-Exempt
