Wealth Strategist, Tax
Wealth Script Advisors | Fully Remote | $90,000 to $120,000 plus bonus
About Wealth Script Advisors
At Wealth Script Advisors, we deliver wealth management with an exceptional blend of personalized, high-touch client service, cutting-edge financial strategies, and innovative technology solutions.
We specialize in guiding tech professionals through a complex financial landscape and pride ourselves on creating a boutique, white-glove experience that transforms how our clients experience wealth management.
Our clients range from engineers to executives to top AI researchers and founders, at the start, middle, and end of their careers. Our clients usually have an income over $1M and a net worth between $5M and $50 M. Our firm is a year and a half old; we currently manage $163M, have a dozen clients on a flat-fee investment guidance-only retainer, and are responsible for a total of 60 families. We have quadrupled our AUM over the last year and tripled our revenues.
We are seeking a tax-focused Wealth Strategist to grow into the firm's tax knowledge leader, an advisor, and eventually a partner and leader. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor during the firm's early-stage, rapid growth.
Position Overview
As a Wealth Strategist, your work will have two primary components. About 25% of the job will consist of tax planning, and 75% will consist of supporting the lead advisor with various financial planning work. This is a high-autonomy role in an unstructured environment: your judgment, curiosity, and ability to prioritize will matter more than hours logged. Over time, you will play a key leadership role in shaping, growing, and managing the broader practice.
Must have:
• An active CPA license is mandatory to be considered for the position
• 3 to 5 years of high net worth/high income tax preparation, planning, and support
• Strong appetite for learning and professional self-improvement
• Passion for building and executing projects
• Personable
• Strong ethics and integrity
Nice to have:

• Family office or multi-family office experience is a strong plus.
• Client-facing experience is ideal.
• Base salary of $90,000 to $120,000.
• Bonus of up to 10 percent: 5 percent target tied to performance, plus 5 percent tied to firm revenue growth.
• Healthcare stipend.
• Internet and cell phone stipend.
• 401(k) with 4 percent match.
• Fully remote, with a results-oriented schedule. Your day is measured by work completed, not hours worked.
• 3 weeks of vacation, increasing by one week every two years up to a maximum of 8 weeks.
• 5 days of paid sick leave.
• One month per year to work from “anywhere” in the world.
• 8 hours of paid volunteer time annually.
• 100 percent of the cost of designations and annual fees that contribute to firm growth and evolution.
• Ability to purchase firm equity at the two-year mark.
• Clear career progression and a defined path toward partnership.
Tax Review, Planning, and Guidance
• Review client tax returns and source documents, draft review findings, and help lead planning conversations with clients.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies, including equity compensation (ISOs, NSOs, RSUs, ESPPs), international, and multi-year tax projections.
• Coordinate with outside CPAs and specialty providers on mutual clients.
Financial Planning
• Build and run financial plans and scenario analyses in eMoney, present them to clients, and update as circumstances change, coordinating plan builds with our Client Relationship Manager.
• Answer planning questions across college funding, insurance, liability, estate, medical coverage, retirement savings and investments, and real estate analysis.
• Guide clients through estate document creation and review, financial action plans, and annual portfolio and goal reviews.
• Help put together and run annual portfolio and goal reviews.
• Conduct research on client-driven planning questions and produce clear, usable deliverables.
Client Relationships and Firm Operations
• Meet one-on-one with clients in defined situations and eventually own a segment of the client base, following your CFP and initial training period.
• Build proposals and support the sales process, including onboarding welcome calls.
• Own project management and follow-up on outstanding client tasks.
• Spend a small share of your early months (roughly 5 percent, for 3 to 6 months) on client service and operations to learn how the firm runs end to end.
