Role Description This full-time remote Web Designer & Frontend Developer role at Veyla Therapy focuses on designing and building accessible, user-friendly interfaces for web applications and marketing sites. The role includes creating wireframes, mockups, and visual design assets aligned with brand guidelines, then implementing them in clean, maintainable frontend code. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product, marketing, and clinical teams to translate requirements into intuitive user experiences, optimizing pages for performance and responsiveness across devices, and iterating on designs based on user feedback and analytics. The Web Designer & Frontend Developer will also ensure consistent visual identity, adhere to best practices in accessibility, and participate in regular reviews and standups in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong Web Design and Responsive Web Design skills, with experience creating intuitive, accessible user interfaces.
  • Proficiency in Graphic Design and working with Graphics for digital products, including use of modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Hands-on Front-End Development experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or similar).
  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and mobile-first design principles.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting, communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Understanding of UX best practices and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant education or equivalent experience in Web Design, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Experience designing for healthcare, wellness, or mental health-focused products is a plus.
