Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading all financial operations and strategy at TopTargetAds. The CFO will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements. This role includes developing long-term financial plans, guiding investment decisions, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. The CFO will partner with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives, evaluate business performance, and provide clear financial insights for decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing finance team members, refining financial processes and systems, monitoring KPIs, and presenting financial results and recommendations to stakeholders and the board.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong finance and financial planning skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis.
- Candidates should possess expertise in financial statements and financial reporting, including preparing and interpreting balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Candidates should possess advanced analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Extensive experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably in digital advertising, technology, or related industries.
- Proficiency with financial software, ERP systems, and spreadsheet tools; familiarity with data analytics platforms is beneficial.
- Thorough understanding of GAAP or IFRS, tax regulations, compliance requirements, and internal control frameworks.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is preferred.
