Role Description The Vice President Finance is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing financial strategy, planning, and reporting in support of Atlas Growth Capital’s advisory and consulting engagements. This role will lead the development of financial models, budgets, and forecasts, and will analyze client financial performance to inform recommendations and growth strategies. The Vice President Finance will review and interpret financial statements, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and support capital planning and resource allocation decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with consulting teams on client projects, presenting financial insights to internal and external stakeholders, establishing financial controls and best practices, and contributing to the improvement of financial processes and tools. The role also involves mentoring team members on financial concepts and partnering with leadership to align financial objectives with overall business goals.
Qualifications
- Strong Finance foundation with hands-on experience in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting Financial Statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for building financial models, evaluating scenarios, and supporting data-driven recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic financial leadership, preferably in consulting, advisory, or high-growth environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, managing priorities and collaborating across distributed teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CPA, CFA) is beneficial.
- Experience supporting capital raising, investment decisions, or restructuring initiatives is a plus.
