Project Manager

Texas GovLink has been contracted with the Texas State Government for 31 years, we are a Top Ten ranked vendor, and premier provider of technical and business staffing solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to be a key resource on a technical services team for our client, the City of Austin(COA).Work Hours and Location

8AM-5PM

Job Location: Remote within Texas (occasional onsite meetings in Austin with advanced notification)Job Type: Temporary ContractDuration: Feb - May 2026Responsibilities

Position will manage one or more projects, including a project to implement a new citywide Technology Selection process and the technology implementation required to support the new process.

Projects may include discovery and requirements gathering, procurement, project reporting, stakeholder management, risk/cost management, delivery/implementation, and post go-live stabilization.

Minimum (Required):

• Experience managing projects in government or public sector industry
• Experience implementing a SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions through all project phases
• Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and active listening
• Excellent stakeholder management skill
• MS Project/Project Web
• PMP

5 years of:

• Experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

4 years of:

• Progressive broad-based information systems, system integration and project delivery experience
