Creative work at MAP is not separate from the mission—it is how the mission is expressed, experienced, and shared. About PromiseStudios | Creative, Storytelling & Production PromiseStudios is MAP’s creative division responsible for film, podcasting, design, illustration, animation, and storytelling. Each team contributes to a unified system of creative output aligned with organizational priorities and impact. Role Overview We are seeking a Project Manager (Creative Teams) to lead the coordination, execution, and delivery of projects across one or more creative teams within PromiseStudios. This role ensures that work moves from idea to completion with structure, clarity, and consistency, supporting creative teams in delivering high-quality output on time. Project Managers may be assigned to one or more of the following teams
- Film / Documentary
- Podcast (PromisePod)
- Design (Graphic & Brand)
- Illustration
- Animation
- Writing / Editorial (PromisePress)
- Social Content / Promise Reels
- Audio / Sound Production
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & Execution
- Manage day-to-day coordination of projects across assigned team(s)
- Track timelines, deliverables, and progress
- Ensure projects move forward efficiently and on schedule
Task Management & Accountability
- Assign and track tasks across contributors
- Ensure accountability and follow-through
- Identify and resolve blockers
Workflow & Systems Management
- Implement and maintain structured workflows
- Improve processes for efficiency and clarity
- Maintain organized tracking systems for all projects
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Coordinate across creative teams to ensure alignment
- Work with PromiseVoice on messaging and PromiseBrands on campaigns
- Support integrated storytelling and production
Quality & Delivery Oversight
- Ensure deliverables meet expectations and deadlines
- Support consistency and reliability across outputs
- Escalate issues when timelines or quality are at risk
Communication & Reporting
- Maintain clear, timely communication with leadership and team members
- Provide updates on project status, risks, and needs
- Coordinate via Google Workspace and project tools
QualificationsRequired
- Experience in project management, coordination, or operations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and problem-solving ability
- Alignment with MAP’s mission and dignity-centered values
Preferred
- Experience in creative, media, or production environments
- Familiarity with project management tools and workflows
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Interest in storytelling, design, or media production
Commitment
- Volunteer role
- Approximately 5–10 hours per week
- Minimum 6-month commitment required
- Hybrid / remote
