About The Role We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Staff Product Marketing Manager to lead our business segment. This role is pivotal in defining how Linktree presents itself to business users, including small and medium-sized enterprises, agencies, and brands managing multiple profiles and teams. The successful candidate will own the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for Linktree’s suite of business products, such as SMB tools and Workspaces. The primary objective is to drive business acquisition, increase paid conversions, and expand customer engagement over time. Sitting at the intersection of product, growth, and marketing teams, this role requires a deep understanding of B2B sales cycles, multi-stakeholder buying behaviors, and the ability to translate product features into compelling business value. As a senior leader, you will shape the strategic direction of our business marketing efforts, build frameworks for market segmentation, and serve as the voice of the customer in cross-functional initiatives. This is an opportunity to define a new category, establish best practices, and make a significant impact on Linktree’s growth trajectory. Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing, with a focus on B2B, SMB, or multi-seat/team-based products
- Proven track record of leading go-to-market strategies for complex product launches and driving measurable results in acquisition, activation, and retention
- Deep understanding of how businesses evaluate and purchase digital tools, including longer sales cycles and multi-stakeholder considerations
- Experience developing segment personas that influence product development and marketing strategies
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to advocate for your segment within cross-functional teams
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and inform decision-making
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly and persuasively
- Ability to lead and influence without formal authority, building alignment across teams
- Experience working in high-growth SaaS or platform environments is highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Define and own the positioning, messaging, and storytelling for Linktree’s business products, ensuring alignment across segments and use cases
- Develop differentiated narratives for key offerings such as Workspaces, tailored to various customer segments including entrepreneurs, agencies, and brands
- Identify critical acquisition, upgrade, and expansion moments; craft messaging and in-product storytelling to maximize conversion and retention
- Collaborate with CRM and lifecycle marketing teams to design customer journeys that move users from trial to paid, and encourage seat expansion
- Partner with data teams to monitor funnels, identify friction points, and optimize onboarding, onboarding, and product experience
- Create educational assets—such as one-pagers, demos, and comparison guides—that facilitate customer understanding and purchase decisions
- Build research-backed personas for business segments, informing product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Lead end-to-end go-to-market initiatives for new product launches, defining strategies, channels, messaging, and success metrics
- Maintain awareness of competitive landscape, synthesize market intelligence, and recommend positioning updates to strengthen Linktree’s market stance
- Ensure consistent, accurate messaging across all internal and external communications, supporting localization and global expansion efforts
- Serve as the internal advocate for business customers, influencing product development, growth initiatives, and strategic planning
