A high growth leader in the luxury home goods and e-commerce space, is looking for a talented Financial Analyst to join their corporate finance department. This is a fully remote position that offers a unique opportunity to support both digital operations and a rapidly expanding physical retail presence.
As a member of the FP and A team, you will report to the Finance Manager and handle a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at driving strategic growth. You will be tasked with reconciling budgets against actual performance, preparing financial forecasts, and managing cash flow analysis. A primary focus of this role is converting complex datasets into clear narratives that help senior executives make informed business decisions.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the development of annual budgets and rolling monthly forecasts.
- Conduct detailed cash flow modeling to ensure liquidity and support physical store expansion.
- Create and stress test financial models to assist with valuation and long term planning.
- Develop monthly reporting packages that spotlight key performance indicators and variance analysis.
- Design interactive dashboards and ad hoc reports to track e-commerce and retail trends.
- Produce professional slide decks for executive presentations and board meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of experience in a highly quantitative or analytical role.
- Strong foundational knowledge of GAAP and the integration of the three main financial statements.
- Mastery of Excel including functions such as index match, pivot tables, and nested if statements.
- Experience in e-commerce, consumer goods, or multi channel retail is highly preferred.
- A Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Ability to explain financial concepts to stakeholders who may not have a finance background.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to manage urgency and ambiguity effectively.
Preferred Technology Experience
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Prior use of Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems.
- Experience using Tableau for data visualization.
- This position offers a competitive salary range of 90,000 to 100,000 dollars annually.
