About the role

Senior Growth Equity Investor

United States | Fully remote

$185,000–$205,000 base + carried interest + equity

Sanderson King is supporting an investor-backed capital solutions platform with the appointment of a Senior Growth Equity Investor to its growing US team.

Working directly with the founder, you will develop investment views on leading late-stage and pre-IPO technology businesses, build relationships with venture capital GPs and own investment processes from sourcing through underwriting and investment committee presentation.

This is an early hire with meaningful scope to shape the firm’s underwriting standards, risk framework and investment approach.

The role

• Build and maintain investment views on a focused portfolio of late-stage private technology companies.

• Develop GP relationships to source opportunities and secure access to investment rounds.

• Lead due diligence across revenue performance, valuation, capital structures, financing terms and exit scenarios.

• Build MOIC and IRR models, including downside and stress cases.

• Write investment memoranda and present recommendations to senior leadership and the Risk Committee.

• Help develop the firm’s proprietary data and analytics capabilities.

Your background

• Typically 4–8 years’ relevant experience in growth equity, late-stage venture investing, software private equity or TMT/pre-IPO investment banking.

• Direct underwriting experience on significant late-stage technology transactions, ideally including major private rounds, crossover financings or IPOs.

• Active coverage of leading AI, deep tech or defense technology businesses.

• Strong financial modelling, cap table analysis and venture deal structuring skills.

• Commercial confidence to build relationships and take ownership of deals from start to finish.

• Comfortable working in a small, evolving business with direct founder exposure.

The opportunity

• $185,000–$205,000 base salary.

• Carried interest and equity participation.

• Fully remote within the United States, working US hours, with minimal travel.

• An opportunity to influence investment decisions and build the foundations of a growing platform.

Applicants must be based in the United States and able to work without visa sponsorship.
