Rare fully remote opportunity | Sr. Financial Analyst | Must meet all requirements to apply |


Compensation: $110k - $150k (depending on years of experience)


Location: Fully remote, with limited travel as needed to meet with finance and operations leadership, not expected to exceed once per month.


Reporting Structure: This role reports into senior finance leadership and partners closely with executive leadership, operational leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.


Desired Background / Skills:

  • Strong FP&A experience within transportation and logistics
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Experience with Power BI, TMS platforms (ideally McLeod), and SQL is a plus

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver financial analysis, reporting, and performance insights for internal and external stakeholders across finance, sales, and operations
  • Support pricing strategy and gross margin analysis
  • Build, maintain, and enhance complex Excel-based financial models and dashboards used for forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including variance analysis, KPI reporting, and presentation materials for leadership
  • Partner with operations and senior leadership to evaluate cost drivers, margins, and process improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning
  • Perform scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making
  • Work cross-functionally with teams such as Operations and Sales to align financial objectives with business performance
  • Improve financial reporting accuracy and data integrity by streamlining data sources and enhancing reporting tools


Candidate Requirements:

  • Must currently own financial analysis across an entire company, not just a division or business unit
  • Must have experience presenting enterprise-wide financial performance and analysis directly to senior leadership
  • Best fit will likely come from a small to midsize organization environment
  • Candidates coming from divisional finance-only roles will not be considered
  • This search is focused on candidates with a strong financial analyst / FP&A background
  • Candidates with primarily blended accounting/finance backgrounds will not be the right fit
