It has developed flexible, industry-specific software supported by extensive industry knowledge and a customer-focused delivery team. This program operates under a leading provider of mission-critical software for the North American public sector, which invests in proprietary software and strategic acquisitions to support sectors such as utilities, local government, education, public safety, and healthcare.
2. About the Opportunity:
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project implementations to ensure customer satisfaction and successful delivery. This role manages project scope, timelines, and finances while collaborating with both clients and internal teams. It contributes to the organization by maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring projects meet requirements on schedule and within budget.
3. Responsibilities:
- Manage project scope and changes to deliverables ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability
- Communicate implications of scope changes to clients and management for approval
- Oversee project financials
- Proactively resolve issues to mitigate delays and maintain project timelines
- Provide regular updates on project status to management and colleagues
- Travel as needed, approximately 30 to 50%
4. Requirements:
- Education in Business Administration or related field
- Experience managing software development projects through all lifecycle phases
- Understanding of software development processes and methodologies
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven leadership and experience leading cross-functional, global teams
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making
- Senior-level project management experience with communication across organizational levels
- Legal eligibility for international travel, including possession of necessary passports and visas
- Preference for candidates able to work in the PST timezone
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Salary range: 120,000 to 135,000 USD
