Quarter Athletic is a custom athletic apparel company built on a relationship-first, in-house manufacturing model. Every piece we produce is cut, printed, and stitched under one roof, no middlemen, no subcontracting, no minimum order quantities. We've partnered with collegiate national champions and youth sports organizations across the country, and we're looking for a Designer I to help bring our clients' team identities to life.
About the Role
This is a fully remote position responsible for designing team storefronts, generating mockups for uniforms and kits, and designing the uniforms and kits themselves. You'll work closely with our production team to keep orders moving and capture accurate order information for every team and client you support. All required mockup templates, logos, and tools will be company provided.
Responsibilities
- Design team storefronts from concept to launch
- Generate and update mockups for uniforms and kits
- Design uniforms and kits, enhancing team identities when requested by the client
- Capture order information for each team or client
- Coordinate with the production team to submit orders and keep production on schedule
- Complete new team mockups within 1-2 days, with any revisions turned around in 1-2 days
- Complete and launch storefronts within two weeks or less
- Submit orders to production within 1-2 days of finalization
Qualifications
- Strong design skills, including the ability to create designs from scratch and enhance existing team identities
- Effective design skills that capture the client's vision for each project
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Shopify required
- Familiarity with generating product mockups and production-ready files
- Understanding of fabric requirements across different apparel products
- Interest or background in sports, athletics, or apparel preferred
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial
- AI experience is a plus as a starting point for idea generation, not a replacement for original design work
