About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Mgr II- HR Compliance to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will oversee employment compliance programs that support a large, global organization operating in a highly regulated environment. The position will partner closely with HR operations, legal, and business leaders to strengthen processes, reduce risk, and ensure consistent application of employment laws and internal standards. It will also play a key role in audits, reporting, accommodations, and compliance training across the organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret changes in employment legislation and implement necessary business adjustments.
  • Oversee the development and execution of Affirmative Action Plans and manage government reporting obligations.
  • Ensure compliance in I-9/E-Verify processes and manage onboarding procedures.
  • Lead strategy for ADA and PWFA accommodations, ensuring consistent and compliant outcomes.
  • Manage compliance training initiatives and vendor relationships to uphold regulatory standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and manage responses to external EEO audits or inquiries.
  • Act as a compliance liaison to various HR operational teams, integrating compliance practices across workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years in HR compliance, employment law, or corporate governance within a large global organization.
  • Deep knowledge of employment laws across federal, state, and local jurisdictions, especially in regulated industries.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate complex regulations into actionable business procedures.
  • High integrity and ability to handle sensitive, confidential information responsibly.
  • Meticulous attention to detail for documentation and auditing processes.
  • Effective communication skills for relaying legal requirements to diverse stakeholders.
