Employee Relations & Investigations Lead – Remote (Central Time Zone / Midwest – required)
We are seeking an experienced HR professionalto lead employee relations and workplace investigations for a fast-growing, global IT consulting firm. This is a strategic role for someone who can provide expert guidance, mentor leaders, and ensure compliance across multiple states and locations.

Role Overview:
- Lead and manage employee relations functions with a primary focus on workplace investigations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across all locations.
- Provide guidance and coaching to leaders and employees on employee relations matters.
- Oversee, mentor, and develop Employee Relations Specialists to ensure effective execution of programs.
- Align employee relations practices with the organization’s mission, values, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct objective, thorough, and timely internal investigations and recommend appropriate actions.
- Review termination actions for accuracy, consistency, and legal risk.
- Provide guidance, training, and coaching on corporate policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and IT teams to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation, case files, and HR records; prepare management reports.
- Identify trends, risks, and recurring employee relations issues and communicate insights to leadership.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Workplace Investigator Certification a plus.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong expertise in employee relations and investigations.
- Experience supporting a multi-state, multi-location organization preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Excellent judgment, discretion, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Must be based in the Central Time Zone / Midwest.Why Join:
