We are hiring a Patient Access Representative for a full-time, remote position with a growing healthcare organization.
The Patient Access Representative will serve as an important point of contact for patients, helping them navigate the healthcare access process and ensuring they receive friendly, professional, and timely assistance.
Responsibilities may include assisting patients with scheduling appointments, registration, verifying information, answering general questions, updating patient records, and coordinating with healthcare teams.
This is an entry-level-friendly position. Previous healthcare or medical office experience is helpful but not required. Candidates with experience in customer service, call centers, reception, administration, retail, hospitality, or other people-facing roles are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided to qualified candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional, friendly, and compassionate service to patients.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to general patient questions.
- Schedule, reschedule, confirm, and cancel patient appointments.
- Assist patients with registration and intake processes.
- Collect and verify required patient information.
- Update and maintain accurate patient records and demographic information.
- Provide general information about appointments, services, locations, and procedures.
- Assist patients with navigating the appropriate department or healthcare service.
- Communicate with healthcare providers and internal teams regarding patient requests and scheduling needs.
- Document patient interactions and requests accurately in the appropriate systems.
- Follow established procedures for handling patient information and administrative requests.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Identify questions or concerns that require additional assistance and escalate them appropriately.
- Help ensure patients have a positive and professional experience during every interaction.
- Complete administrative tasks related to patient access and scheduling as assigned.

Salary Range: $20 - $20k Per hour
