WorkinVirtual Private Limited is hiring a Video Editor for a full-time, 100% remote opportunity open to qualified candidates worldwide.
You'll transform footage, audio, graphics, and other creative assets into polished digital video content.
We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual composition, audio, and audience attention who can take a creative brief through to a professional finished edit.
Candidates should have 2–4 years of professional video-editing or post-production experience and a portfolio or showreel demonstrating their work.
Compensation: $20–$25 USD per hour.
What You'll Do
- Edit short-form and long-form video content.
- Turn raw footage into polished visual stories.
- Edit content for digital and social platforms.
- Select footage, B-roll, audio, and creative assets.
- Maintain strong pacing and narrative flow.
- Perform color correction and basic grading.
- Edit and synchronize audio.
- Add captions, titles, graphics, and transitions.
- Adapt videos for horizontal, vertical, and square formats.
- Prepare platform-appropriate exports.
- Organize project files and creative assets.
- Maintain consistent visual standards.
- Incorporate creative feedback and revisions.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Collaborate with a distributed remote team.
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of professional video-editing experience.
- Portfolio or showreel required.
- Strong professional video-editing skills.
- Good storytelling and pacing.
- Understanding of audio and color.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good project and file organization.
- Ability to interpret creative feedback.
- Strong time management.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, motion graphics, social-video editing, or similar creative tools is useful.
You do not need experience with every tool listed.
Compensation
$20–$25 USD per hour.
100% Remote
This is a 100% remote worldwide position.
Candidates must be legally permitted to perform remote work from their country of residence and maintain at least 4 hours of working-day overlap with New York / US Eastern Time (ET).
Remote onboarding and training are provided.
No office attendance, relocation, or travel is required.
