What We Look For In a AP Chemistry Tutor

• Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with AP Chemistry curriculum across nine units and common challenges such as predicting molecular geometry, balancing redox reactions, and interpreting spectroscopic data. Adapts instruction using molecular models, virtual lab simulations, and AP-style free-response practice to support students building from general chemistry toward college-level analytical and physical chemistry.
• Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
