Remote Senior Software Engineer

Role: Senior Software Engineer focused on developing data-driven educational products. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data lakes, RESTful services, and web applications to support educational insights; participate in technical design, code reviews, and troubleshooting; improve data infrastructure for scalability and maintainability; collaborate with product teams to translate data needs into platform capabilities; integrate third-party data sources; stay current with emerging technologies. Qualifications & Skills: Over 6 years of enterprise software experience, with 3+ years hands-on with Java 17+, Spring Boot, SQL, data warehousing, PySpark, AWS, CI/CD, and Agile practices; 2+ years web development with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (Angular preferred); strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills; ability to articulate complex ideas and adapt solutions for sustainability. Preferred: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related; remote work experience.
