Join TeamHealth's largest and most dynamic business group in a newly created leadership role with enterprise-level visibility and impact.

This opportunity is ideal for a healthcare finance professional, operational finance leader, service line finance manager, business finance partner, strategic finance professional, or FP&A leader looking to expand leadership responsibilities while partnering directly with operational and executive leaders.

In this highly visible remote role, you'll help drive financial and operational decision-making through forecasting, business analysis, strategic planning, and performance insights. You'll work closely with finance and operational leaders to identify opportunities, solve business challenges, develop scalable processes, and support initiatives that improve operational and financial performance.

You'll also lead and develop a small team of analysts while helping enhance reporting capabilities and financial decision-making across TeamHealth's largest division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and projection activities.
  • Manage quarterly Net APC reviews and present financial recommendations to leadership.
  • Oversee incentive compensation administration, including data validation, calculations, reporting, and payout processes.
  • Analyze financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial reporting and data.
  • Develop and enhance reporting tools and analytical capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of financial analysts while fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Prioritize team deliverables and drive process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform financial modeling and ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain a hands-on role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, reporting, and business analysis while leading a team of analysts.

What Makes You Successful

  • You approach finance through an operational and strategic lens, using data and insights to influence business decisions.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve and ambiguity is part of the work.
  • You enjoy solving complex problems, creating structure from challenges, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • You build strong relationships across all levels of an organization and communicate financial concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • You are a collaborative leader who develops talent, drives accountability, and fosters teamwork.
  • You balance attention to detail with a focus on broader business objectives.
  • You are looking to grow your leadership capabilities and thrive in a role that offers increased visibility, broader business exposure, and opportunities for future career advancement.

You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), healthcare finance, operational finance, strategic finance, business finance, financial performance, or related disciplines.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, operational performance analysis, business planning, or strategic decision-making.
  • Previous experience leading finance professionals, cross-functional initiatives, large projects, or teams.
  • Strong ability to partner with operational leaders and translate financial data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
  • Experience presenting financial information, business performance results, and recommendations to leaders and stakeholders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
  • Healthcare industry experience is strongly preferred, particularly in provider organizations, health systems, physician groups, service line finance, value-based care, population health, operational finance, or related healthcare environments.
  • Candidates from other complex industries with strong operational finance, business partnership, or strategic finance experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, Essbase, Oracle EPM, Anaplan, Strata, or similar planning and reporting platforms is a plus.
  • This role directly manages two Senior Financial Analysts and is well suited for a hands-on finance leader who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and developing talent while remaining actively involved in financial analysis and business partnership.
  • Ability to work Eastern Time Zone business hours.
  • Limited travel may be required.
