2. About the Opportunity:
The Software Project Manager leads complex, cross-functional product deployment projects critical to delivering integrated SaaS solutions. This role drives multiple simultaneous projects toward aggressive delivery goals by proactively identifying risks, implementing corrective actions, and coordinating across internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful and timely completion. The position plays a key role in navigating a matrixed organization and managing customer relationships to achieve project success.
3. Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and continuously measure comprehensive project plans using automated tools.
- Drive on-time delivery by tracking deliverables, milestones, resource allocations, and dependencies across teams.
- Anticipate project risks, develop contingency plans, and manage escalations.
- Lead the successful implementation and hand-off of solutions to support and success teams.
- Serve as the primary liaison for customers, partners, subcontractors, and internal staff.
- Provide regular, transparent status updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective meetings to drive decisions and ensure project milestones are met.
- Use interpersonal and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders and navigate organizational complexity.
- Understand business and financial impacts of project decisions.
- Collaborate to improve tools, processes, and methodologies for enhanced project outcomes.
- Analyze program data to assess risks and recommend data-driven solutions.
4. Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience with SaaS solutions.
- Bachelor''s degree required; Master''s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience leading agile projects within a matrixed organizational structure.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Skilled in project documentation and cloud-based document management.
- Experience with Public Safety communications systems and local public safety customers is advantageous.
- PMP, PMP-ACP, or equivalent agile certifications are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Monday.com, Salesforce, or Zendesk is a plus.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Willingness to travel less than 10%.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Target base salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 USD.
- Actual offer varies based on experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
