About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR WEBSITE PROJECT MANAGER role involves managing Drupal and WordPress projects across their life cycles, from initiation to completion. This position ensures effective communication, accurate project tracking, and continuous process improvement to deliver high-quality digital solutions. The role is critical in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex client accounts, acting as a strategic partner and advocate to maintain project clarity and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of Drupal and WordPress projects, including complex and high-visibility accounts.
- Serve as the primary client contact and trusted advisor, facilitating clear communication.
- Align client business needs with internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Escalate issues appropriately and resolve challenges independently when possible.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for project expansion to management.
- Lead client meetings, communicate updates, and translate technical details clearly.
- Oversee client onboarding, kickoff, and transitions between project phases.
- Maintain organized project backlogs and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Evaluate client requests for scope alignment; recommend alternatives as needed.
- Perform initial site configurations and troubleshooting before involving developers.
- Coordinate internal resources including developers, designers, and strategists.
- Review work outputs for quality before client delivery.
- Monitor budgets and timelines, providing regular progress updates.
- Identify risks early and lead mitigation efforts.
- Manage urgent requests and issue escalations, especially in support accounts.
- Utilize tools such as Teamwork, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, and AI applications to support project management.
- Lead and participate in team meetings and initiatives for process improvement.
- Monitor team workload and promote sustainable work practices.
- Develop and document processes to enhance project success and team satisfaction.
- Mentor and support other project managers.
Requirements:
- Extensive agency experience managing Drupal and/or WordPress projects.
- Strong understanding of project life cycles and ability to manage both build and support efforts.
- Excellent communication skills, including client interaction and team collaboration.
- Ability to manage complex accounts and navigate technical challenges.
- Experience with project management and communication tools.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor project management teams.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- The starting salary range for this role is $75,400.00 to $93,668.00, dependent on experience and skills.
