2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Software Engineer, Fulfillment is responsible for designing, building, and implementing software solutions that optimize and scale the fulfillment operations of the grocery delivery platform. This role focuses on improving system performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and leveraging advanced technologies to support a critical component of the organization''s service delivery.
3. Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable software using computer science and engineering principles
- Ensure protocols for rapid upgrades and feature rollouts
- Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries
- Conduct performance testing, analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of systems
- Design solutions for programming challenges and refine system architectures
- Propose new systems to improve delivery and operational excellence
- Utilize AI toolsets to accelerate development and improve product quality
- Perform other related duties as assigned
4. Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related software engineering role
- At least 2 years of experience with Java, Ruby, Python, or similar languages
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, or similar database systems
- Experience with client/server and application architectures
- Experience working with large codebases on cross-functional teams
- Proficient in using advanced AI toolsets for development acceleration
- Skilled in deriving insights from complex data sets
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Base pay range for this role is $214,000 to $229,000 USD, varying by location and candidate experience
- Eligible for new hire equity grants and annual refresh grants
- Compensation and benefits are competitive and location-dependent
