2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Marketing Specialist role is a senior, hands-on position responsible for managing email, lifecycle, product, and promotional marketing campaigns. The role focuses on building, optimizing, and scaling automated and promotional communications that engage members effectively. This position directly impacts member engagement through data-driven segmentation, testing, and personalization, contributing to the effectiveness of marketing outreach.
3. Responsibilities:
- Create, build, and optimize automated and promotional email campaigns using Marketo and CMS.
- Manage member lifecycle journeys from onboarding through re-engagement.
- Develop member communications for product and offer launches.
- Deliver high-volume promotional campaigns efficiently.
- Target campaigns based on member preferences, demographics, and behavior.
- Utilize marketing automation tools to streamline workflows.
- Analyze campaign performance and apply insights for optimization.
- Identify underperforming areas and implement improvements proactively.
- Collaborate remotely with sales, operations, and other teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Employ AI tools for content creation, audience analysis, and campaign optimization.
4. Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years marketing experience with knowledge of best practices and industry trends.
- Extensive hands-on experience in email marketing.
- Experience in lifecycle, product, and promotional marketing, with strength in multiple areas.
- 2 to 5 years of experience with Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions remotely.
- Capacity to perform in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and self-motivation.
- Experience in the travel or cruise industry is advantageous.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Base Salary Range: $75,000 – $100,000 per year, determined by qualifications, location, experience, and skills.
