2. About the Opportunity:
The Learning Manager will develop and deliver educational materials and professional learning experiences for programs targeting young people aged 8 to 18. This role is central to advancing an educational AI program that helps teachers and students understand artificial intelligence and machine learning. The position supports program adaptation, delivery, and scaling within the US, contributing to ongoing development and impact. It plays a key role in shaping effective learning experiences that equip young learners with critical AI literacy.
3. Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver learning content, experiences, and training for educational programs.
- Ensure materials reflect evidence-based pedagogy and agreed teaching approaches.
- Plan and conduct professional learning for educators via various formats, tailored to audience needs.
- Engage with quality assurance systems and adherence to inclusion and accessibility policies.
- Contribute to teaching and learning strategy development and innovation.
- Use user feedback and data to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Represent the organization to external stakeholders as needed.
- Contribute to thought leadership through writing, public speaking, and research involvement.
4. Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- Teaching qualification or significant teaching experience, with at least 3 years teaching computing science at middle or high school level.
- Experience designing and implementing AI literacy curricula with interest in current AI education developments.
- Proven ability to design and deliver high-quality learning experiences and training across diverse settings.
- Comfortable with various technologies and willing to learn new platforms.
- Understanding of computing pedagogy in formal and informal education.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative work approach.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel within the US and potentially internationally.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- $72,000 - $78,000 per annum full-time equivalent, dependent on experience.
