About the Opportunity:
The Implementation Project Manager II oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of client onboarding and implementation projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time and within budget by managing schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication. The position contributes directly to client satisfaction and successful implementations while driving process improvements and maintaining effective project teams.
Responsibilities:
• Define, manage, and communicate project objectives, plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop and adjust project schedules and milestones to keep implementations on track.
• Communicate project progress, requirements, risks, and expectations clearly with clients, team members, and executives.
• Build and maintain effective cross-functional project teams.
• Delegate responsibilities and manage resources to support successful project delivery.
• Identify, assess, track, and mitigate project risks, bottlenecks, and issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and external partners to ensure timely completion of dependent activities.
• Resolve team conflicts and address project issues proactively.
• Manage project dependencies, critical paths, and delivery requirements.
• Plan team capacity, prioritize workloads, and allocate resources effectively.
• Maintain project momentum and demonstrate initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Define and communicate project success criteria and performance expectations.
• Lead continuous process improvement initiatives using project data and performance metrics.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on project management practices, processes, and tools.
Requirements:
• 4–5 years of project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with client onboarding, benefits administration, or SaaS implementations.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage tight delivery deadlines and competing priorities.
• Experience with change management and stakeholder leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Experience documenting processes and using metrics to drive process improvements.
• Strong customer service and client relationship management skills.
• Experience working on cross-functional projects.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Annual salary range of $67,000–$105,000, based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market factors.
• Eligibility to participate in an annual bonus incentive plan.
• Comprehensive benefits package available to eligible employees.
