About the Opportunity:
The CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE role is designed to deliver consistent and exceptional customer service of routine complexity in a healthcare setting. This position is responsible for managing inbound and outbound communications using various channels, ensuring patient confidentiality, and providing empathetic support. The role contributes directly to customer satisfaction and the organization's commitment to quality health service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Support assigned client groups with routine health-related customer service activities.
- Handle outbound and inbound full-service calls promptly, following established scripts and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of all customer and patient health and personal information.
- Provide professional and empathetic customer service, especially when delivering sensitive health information.
- Respond effectively to customer inquiries via telephone, fax, email, chat, and other digital methods related to patient results, test inquiries, service concerns, and related duties.
- Support client groups as needed based on business requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of related customer service experience.
- Preferred experience in healthcare or laboratory services.
- Demonstrated success in delivering customer service excellence and meeting productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.
- Strong focus on accuracy, quality, and consistent customer service.
- Proficiency with digital tools such as Outlook, Excel, phone systems, chat, automation, and AI.
- Ability to thrive in an environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Pay starts at $17.20 per hour.
- Salary offers consider skills, training, experience, education, certifications, and organizational factors.
- Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.
