Job Description - Job Description - Job Title: Revenue Accountant Location US (remote) (Candidates from TX local Contract Duration: 1 year LinkedIn must Must have : Zuora and Tableau and ASC 606 Description: Revenue Accountant Job Description: We are seeking a highly analytical Revenue Accountant to join our Revenue Analytics team. This role sits at the intersection of Revenue Accounting, Revenue Recognition, FP&A, and Corporate Accounting, providing critical insights into revenue performance, deferred revenue, billings, and future outlook. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Zuora, Tableau, and complex revenue data, and is comfortable supporting audits, executive reporting, and ad-hoc analytical requests. Key Responsibilities Revenue Analytics & Reporting Prepare and analyze revenue, deferred revenue, and billings data to support quarterly close and forward-looking analysis Produce and maintain core deliverables, including waterfalls, deferred revenue reports, RPO, and predictive analytics Perform revenue and deferred revenue variance analysis, including ST/LT classification and root-cause analysis Systems & Tools (Zuora / Tableau) Leverage Zuora to extract, analyze, and reconcile bookings, billings, revenue, ARR, and deferred revenue Build and maintain Tableau dashboards for management and audit reporting Ensure accurate roll-forward to the General Ledger Accounting, Audit & Compliance Support Support Revenue and Corporate Accounting with audit schedules and roll-forwards Assist with manual journal entry analysis and deferred revenue adjustments Resolve discrepancies between sub-ledgers and the GL Cross-Functional & Ad-Hoc Analysis Respond to ad-hoc revenue and ARR analysis requests Partner with FP&A, Revenue Recognition, Deal Desk, and Accounting teams Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 4+ years of Revenue Accounting or Revenue Analytics experience Hands-on experience with Zuora and Tableau Strong understanding of ASC 606 Advanced Excel skills Preferred Qualifications SaaS or subscription business experience Multi-entity and multi-currency experience Thanks Mohd Furquan/Rehan rehan@talentportus.com
