About The Role
The Full Stack Developer position at LMI is a remote opportunity designed for a highly skilled professional with a minimum of a SECRET clearance and at least three years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will support a US Special Operations Command mission partner by designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions. This role involves working closely with mission partners to create innovative solutions that meet operational needs, ensuring seamless integration across platforms and devices. The developer will be responsible for writing clean, efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging existing systems, and deploying new features in an agile environment. Additionally, the role requires gathering user feedback, preparing technical documentation, and recommending improvements to enhance system performance and user experience. The position offers an exciting chance to contribute directly to national security missions while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Active SECRET clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- Must meet DoD 8570.01 certification requirements for Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level II
- Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role
- Previous government technology experience
- Experience deploying software using Agile development methodologies
- Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
- Demonstrated cloud experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience deploying and maintaining APIs on AWS infrastructure
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as .NET, .NET Core, C#, Java, or Python
- Ability to quickly learn new programming languages and technologies
- Experience using GitLab as a version control system
- Leverage knowledge of programming languages to design and develop software solutions that meet program requirements
- Write original code and update existing codebases, ensuring quality and functionality
- Integrate software components and third-party programs to create cohesive systems
- Verify and deploy programs and systems, ensuring smooth operation across platforms
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to improve performance and security
- Ensure all new software functions seamlessly across various platforms, including mobile systems
- Collaborate directly with US Army mission partners to develop tailored solutions for the Warfighter
- Gather and evaluate user feedback to inform ongoing development and improvements
- Assist in the preparation of epics and features based on user needs and operational requirements
