Technical Product Marketing Manager — Quantum Computing
Salary - $150-170k base
Location - Remote United States
About the Company
Our client builds software that makes an emerging and highly technical computing paradigm usable in the real world. Their platform helps developers and enterprise teams build, refine, and deploy sophisticated technical workflows at scale — taking care of underlying complexity so that both newcomers and experienced specialists can work productively across a range of technical environments. The company works with major enterprises and large institutional organizations, and is focused on turning ambitious technical concepts into deployed, working solutions.
The Role
We're looking for a Technical Product Marketing Manager to turn a deeply technical platform into messaging that resonates with a wide range of audiences — from hands-on technical users to senior enterprise decision-makers. This role sits at the crossroads of product, engineering, sales, and marketing. You'll build a genuine understanding of how the technology works and why it matters, then translate that into narratives that are both accurate and easy to grasp.
What You'll Do
- Lead technical messaging and positioning across the company's core offerings.
- Turn complex technical capabilities into clear statements of customer value and use cases.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to stay current on roadmap, features, and competitive differentiation.
- Equip the Sales team with technical narratives, presentations, demos, and competitive materials.
- Support product launches with messaging, supporting assets, and internal alignment.
- Produce technical content — explainers, solution briefs, customer use-case stories — that helps the market understand the product.
- Help define how the broader market thinks about this technology category and the company's place within it.
Who You Are
- Strong technical fluency, ideally in software, developer tools, technical infrastructure, or advanced/frontier technology platforms.
- Experience in product marketing or an adjacent function (product management, solutions engineering, developer relations, etc.).
- Comfortable moving between deep technical detail and high-level business framing depending on the audience.
- Strong, clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence engaging directly with engineers and other technical stakeholders.
- Sound judgment about what level of technical depth serves a given audience.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to advanced or frontier computing concepts, especially in a fast-evolving technical field.
- A background in a technical or scientific discipline (physics, computer science, engineering, or similar).
- Experience working alongside research-driven teams — R&D groups, advanced engineering, labs, or applied research functions.
- Comfort working with early-stage, exploratory technical work and shaping it into clear, practical narratives.
Why This Role Matters
This technology is moving from research settings into mainstream, real-world use. This role is central to that transition — making sure the platform's technical strengths are clearly understood, trusted, and adopted by the people who need it.
Why Join
- Work at the leading edge of a strategically significant and fast-growing technology.
- Collaborate with world-class researchers and engineers.
- Competitive compensation package: base, commission, and equity.
- Flexible, remote-friendly working environment.
- Help shape adoption of this technology across commercial and institutional markets.
