Job Summary
We are seeking a Healthcare Data Analyst with 2–3 years of experience to analyze healthcare, clinical, claims, and operational data and convert complex datasets into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and data visualization skills, familiarity with healthcare data and EHR systems, and the ability to work with clinical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze healthcare, patient, claims, clinical, and operational datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, dashboards, and data models.
Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.
Perform data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Analyze patient outcomes, healthcare utilization, costs, readmissions, quality metrics, and operational performance.
Work with EHR/EMR, claims, and clinical data from healthcare systems.
Collaborate with healthcare, finance, operations, IT, and clinical teams to understand reporting requirements.
Translate business and healthcare requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
Identify data inconsistencies and work with technical teams to resolve data-quality issues.
Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports for management and healthcare stakeholders.
Support healthcare performance improvement, population health, and quality-measure initiatives.
Maintain documentation for data sources, business rules, KPIs, and reporting processes.
Follow applicable healthcare data privacy, security, and confidentiality requirements.
Required Skills
2–3 years of experience in data analytics, healthcare analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
Strong SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, and window functions.
Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
Strong knowledge of Excel, including PivotTables, lookups, and data analysis.
Experience working with large and complex datasets.
Understanding of healthcare data such as EHR/EMR, claims, clinical, patient, and provider data.
Knowledge of healthcare KPIs, quality metrics, utilization, and cost analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
