About the Opportunity:
The SOFTWARE ENGINEER, PYTHON role involves primarily backend development with some frontend work to deliver end-to-end product features. This position contributes to building new products and capabilities such as scalable experimentation platforms, real-time data infrastructure, and AI-enhanced marketing workflows. Working within a cross-functional team, the engineer impacts the organization by developing reliable systems that support data-driven marketing decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop backend services and APIs using Python.
- Build frontend components as needed to complete product features.
- Contribute to the growth of an incrementality experimentation platform.
- Implement near-real-time data ingestion and processing solutions.
- Integrate AI-powered workflows for marketing performance evaluation.
- Enhance connection-state systems and expand data partner integrations.
- Work on additional product features like role-based access control.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in backend service and API development with Python.
- Familiarity with distributed systems or microservices architectures.
- Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and data scientists.
- Ability to deliver production-ready code from defined requirements.
- Competence in navigating complex datasets and system dependencies.
- Frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
- Strong coding fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Versatility to work across backend, frontend, pipelines, and infrastructure.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Base salary range of $140,000 to $155,000 USD, varying by experience, skills, and location.
