About the Opportunity
The Delivery Manager leads and supports agile development teams to ensure successful product delivery aligned with client needs. This role is responsible for maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, facilitating effective Agile practices, and supporting team health and performance. The position plays a key role in managing expectations, identifying risks, and ensuring teams remain focused on delivering high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with clients, teams, and key stakeholders.
• Manage client expectations through transparent and timely communication.
• Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and emerging concerns proactively.
• Identify and address customer concerns and delivery risks early.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs.
• Serve as the primary Agile process contact for the client.
• Coach teams in Scrum, self-organization, cross-functional collaboration, and incremental delivery.
• Monitor team health and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate.
• Support team member performance management and coordinate feedback with leadership.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new team members.
• Assist with subcontractor performance feedback.
• Handle administrative responsibilities including travel arrangements, invoice reviews, authorizations, and project hour tracking.
Requirements
• Eight or more years of product or technical leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strategic, analytical, and outcome-driven mindset.
• Strong servant leadership skills with the ability to balance priorities and foster team self-organization.
• Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and iterative software development.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to advocate for team needs and negotiate effectively with business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of technical concepts and architectural principles.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
• Salary range of $120,000 to $165,000 per year.
• Compensation is based on qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
