Role Description The position is ideally full-time, and is a remote position. This role involves consulting with clients to understand their travel preferences, advising on destinations and accommodations, and creating tailored itineraries. Daily tasks include handling reservations for flights, hotels, cruises, and tours; coordinating car rentals and ground transfers; and managing complete travel arrangements from inquiry to post-trip follow-up. The agent will communicate with suppliers, secure competitive pricing, process payments, and ensure all travel documentation is accurate. The role also includes maintaining client records, responding promptly to inquiries, and actively promoting agency offerings to grow the customer base and drive sales.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Reservations and Travel Arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, cruises, and packaged vacations.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, handle inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional manner in highly desired.
• Strong sales skills, including prospecting, upselling, and closing bookings to meet revenue goals is preferred.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with online booking tools, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with standard office software.
• Prior experience in a travel agency or hospitality environment is preferred, along with a high school diploma or equivalent; further travel industry training or certifications are a plus.
