Position Overview

PuppySpot is seeking an Analytics Manager to help scale and evolve our analytics function across the organization. This is a highly visible, hands-on role responsible for improving operational visibility, enabling data-driven decision-making, and modernizing how teams’ access and consume data.

This individual will partner cross-functionally with leadership across Marketing, Product & Technology, Sales, Operations, and Customer Experience to drive actionable insights, prioritize analytics initiatives, and improve reporting scalability across the business.

In addition to hands-on analytics and dashboard development, this role will oversee external analytics/data engineering resources, support data infrastructure initiatives, and help drive process consistency and governance across the analytics ecosystem.

We are looking for someone who is both highly analytical and operationally minded, someone comfortable moving between strategic business conversations and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead analytics initiatives aligned to company OKRs and operational priorities across the business
• Build and optimize scalable dashboards, reporting frameworks, and BI tools that improve visibility, accessibility, and decision-making
• Serve as the internal expert across organizational data sources, reporting logic, and analytics workflows
• Oversee data ingestion, ETL processes, and external analytics/data engineering resources
• Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Operations to support data-driven decision-making, experimentation, and performance visibility
• Improve analytics governance, prioritization, and operational consistency across reporting workflows
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and agent-based workflows to improve reporting efficiency and data accessibility

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Operations, or related functions
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with data warehouses, DBT, ETL processes, and data modeling
• Experience with enterprise BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms
• Experience with Google Analytics, product analytics, experimentation, and A/B testing preferred
• Experience managing external analytics, engineering, or offshore vendor resources preferred
• Exposure to AI, automation tooling, or workflow optimization within analytics environments strongly preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
