The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruiting operations and talent acquisition initiatives across the organization. This position can be remote or work out of one of our offices. In this role, you will support the execution of companywide recruiting strategies through candidate sourcing, pipeline development, career fair coordination, applicant tracking, and candidate engagement activities. You will work closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition Manager to identify qualified candidates, maintain recruiting workflows, and deliver a positive candidate experience. This position serves as the operational lead for college recruiting, career fairs, and early careers programs while supporting hiring efforts across multiple business lines. What You’ll Do: As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for building candidate pipelines, coordinating recruiting activities, supporting hiring managers, and managing candidate engagement throughout the recruiting process. You will leverage sourcing tools, recruiting systems, and relationship-building skills to help attract and identify top talent while supporting the organization's hiring objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Source and identify qualified candidates for open positions using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and screening activities to assess qualifications and interest.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and recruiting logistics between candidates and hiring teams.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Monitor applicant activity and provide hiring managers with regular updates regarding candidate pipelines and applicant reviews.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of career fairs, campus recruiting events, and early careers initiatives.
- Coordinate event logistics, registrations, recruiting materials, and attendee preparation for recruiting events.
- Track sourcing effectiveness, recruiting activity, and career fair results to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with Marketing and internal stakeholders to support employer branding and recruiting initiatives.
- Participate in recruiting meetings and provide updates on sourcing efforts, candidate activity, and recruiting events.
- Promote a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional engagement throughout the hiring process.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred. Equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, sourcing, human resources, or a related field, preferably in the AEC industry.
- Experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, job boards, and other recruiting platforms preferred.
- Experience coordinating interviews, recruiting events, career fairs, or campus recruiting initiatives preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Office Suite, and other recruiting technologies.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate recruiting records and data.
- Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
