About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team remotely. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data related to our recruitment processes, client engagement, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, advanced technical skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will report directly to the Director of Data & Analytics and play a key role in shaping data-driven strategies that enhance our service delivery and business growth.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data engineering roles is required. Expertise in SQL, including advanced querying and data transformation techniques, is essential. Familiarity with data transformation tools such as dbt or similar platforms is highly desirable. Candidates should have experience working with BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or comparable visualization platforms, alongside proficiency in cloud data warehousing solutions such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake, preferably within a Google Cloud Platform environment. A solid understanding of statistical analysis, modeling concepts, and experience analyzing product, marketing, and customer data are important. Strong communication skills, proactive insight generation, and the ability to interpret raw data into meaningful business insights are critical. Prior experience in SaaS or consumer technology companies will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include conducting advanced analytics beyond basic descriptive reporting to uncover deeper insights that influence business strategies. You will develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards tailored to various business units, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions. Collaborating with teams to define and refine KPIs will be a key aspect of your role, ensuring that metrics accurately reflect business objectives. You will engage in data modeling, statistical analysis, and data wrangling to prepare datasets for analysis, even when dealing with imperfect or complex data sources. Your insights will help optimize recruitment strategies, improve client engagement, and enhance operational efficiencies. Additionally, you will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing guidance on data utilization and fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
