  • Review and approve equipment submittals, technical documentation, and design deliverables to ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Support value engineering efforts focused on constructability, reliability, operational performance, and cost optimization.
  • Develop standardized sequences of operation and commissioning requirements in collaboration with controls and automation teams.
  • Partner with design, construction, procurement, and operations teams to incorporate lessons learned and continuously improve future project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; PE license preferred.
  • 8-12+ years of experience designing and delivering mechanical systems for data centers, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale industrial/commercial projects.
  • Strong expertise in cooling systems, piping infrastructure, water distribution, plumbing systems, and critical facility design.
  • Experience establishing engineering standards, design guidelines, and best practices across multiple projects.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineers in a collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of applicable building codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with engineering design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM platforms.
  • Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, procurement teams, and operational stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Join a high-growth organization at the forefront of data center and infrastructure development.
  • Influence the design and engineering strategy for some of the industry's most advanced mission-critical facilities.
  • Lead the creation of engineering standards and best practices across a national portfolio.
  • Opportunity to build and mentor a growing engineering team.
  • Competitive compensation, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Flexible work arrangements with remote options available.
