Job Description The Auth and Policy Platform team provides a source of truth for infrastructure workload identity, access, and metadata for the developer platform used by this part of the organization. This team provides fundamental metadata and access controls that allow the developer platform to update in a true self-service fashion, while satisfying necessary security and policy controls. This team has a new opening on their team and is looking for a candidate who will be responsible for participating in provisioning and developing the Developer Platform developer directory, adding features to the service and team registry, helping create new client libraries, and handling tasks, issues, and features across the services owned by the team. The ideal candidate will be a Full-Stack Sr Python Software Developer who can work within the team to deliver top priority changes and new features for the developer platform, with a strong knowledge of AWS, and also has experience using provisioning and deployment tools so that they can understand and verify the developer platform features. Skills And Requirements

  • Must be located in PST state and work PST hours (CA, WA, NV, AZ, OR, ID)
  • MUST have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science OR Computer Engineering only (NO STEM degree)
  • 5 years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer specifically with Python web development using *Flask, *FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks (*Flask and FastAPI are highly preferred, Django is second preference)
  • Mostly Python some with Front-End mixed in
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • At least 3 years of experience setting up or maintaining applications in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, or similar environments/tools
  • Experience setting up and starting projects that run in a cloud-hosted environment from either personal or work experience using infrastructure as code
  • Experience creating and maintaining APIs using GraphQL
  • Experience with MySQL, Postgres, or MongoDB
  • Experience with front-end development, specifically React
  • Experience integrating applications with LDAP in python
  • Experience giving demos to technical audiences
  • Solid experience building and designing highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available systems
