Job Description The NON-QM Loan Processor/File Scrubber is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and preparing loan files for submission to underwriting, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and investor requirements. This role focuses on Non-Qualified Mortgage (NON-QM) products, requiring strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of alternative documentation programs. Key Responsibilities  

• Review loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Verify borrower information, including income, assets, credit, and property details, according to NON-QM program guidelines.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in documentation before submission to underwriting.

• Communicate with loan officers, borrowers, and third-party vendors to obtain missing or corrected documents.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor regulations throughout the loan process.

• Prepare and organize loan files for underwriting, maintaining proper documentation and audit trails.

• Track and manage pipeline to meet deadlines and service-level agreements.

Skills And Requirements Minimum 3 years of mortgage processing experience Non-QM And Conventional Loan Experience Is Required. Strong understanding of mortgage lending guidelines, compliance, and documentation requirements Experience in an independent mortgage broker Proficiency in Encompass loan origination software.
