In this role, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day accounting activities. This role requires the ability to manage assignments independently through effective prioritization, follow directions, and proactively raise issues as appropriate.
The role requires strong analytical capabilities, ERP system experience, and effective communication in English to collaborate across teams and support business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within the accounting team and across the department, fostering strong integration and engagement with stakeholders
- Implement, communicate, and identify additional data needed to assess the impact of business and accounting initiatives on assigned processes and financial statements
- Apply accounting and regulatory standards by preparing quarterly and annual statutory and/or GAAP financial statements, schedules, and supporting exhibits
- Prepare and analyze account reconciliations for complex accounting processes
- Exercise judgment and provide recommendations; initiate and participate in process improvement initiatives as appropriate
- Prepare analytical schedules, perform variance analysis, and provide analytical support aligned with business goals, accounting concepts, and internal customer requests
- Coordinate monthly close activities, including related processing and preparation of analyses such as account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation
- Utilize ERP systems to support accounting processes, reporting, reconciliation, and data integrity
Required Experience & Skills
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- ERP system experience required: SAP and/or Oracle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends or issues
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) for professional communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain accounting concepts to non-accounting stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, integrate across teams, and engage internal customers
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a deadline-driven environment
- Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
