Revit Designer (AV/BIM) – Fully Remote (USA)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Revit Designer to join our team supporting large-scale commercial construction projects across the United States. This role is responsible for reviewing construction drawings and BIM models, then designing and incorporating AV and Electrical systems, including displays, mounts, speakers, racks, and related equipment, as well as associated electrical infrastructure, into 3D Revit models.
The ideal candidate has strong Revit and BIM experience, is comfortable navigating complex 3D construction models, and can collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve design conflicts before installation. This individual will participate in clash detection and coordination meetings to ensure AV systems are properly integrated with other building systems and trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and BIM/Revit models.
- Design and incorporate AV systems, including displays, speakers, mounts, racks, and supporting equipment, into 3D Revit models.
- Model associated electrical and low-voltage infrastructure required for AV installations.
- Participate in clash detection and coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve conflicts between AV systems and architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and field teams to ensure constructability and installation readiness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project models throughout the design and construction process.
- Support multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience developing and modifying models in Revit.
- Experience working with BIM workflows and navigating complex 3D construction models.
- Hands-on experience performing clash detection and model coordination.
- Understanding of commercial construction processes and multi-trade coordination.
- Experience modeling AV, low-voltage, telecommunications, electrical, or technology systems.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
