- Advanced Python Engineering: Expert-level Python development experience, including performance optimization, memory management, modular software design, and building reusable libraries and frameworks.
- Data Platform Development: Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade data platforms that support critical business functions.
- Data Pipelines & ETL/ELT: Strong experience creating scalable data ingestion frameworks, transformation pipelines, and batch-processing systems handling complex datasets.
- Backend Engineering: Ability to develop APIs, integrations, and backend services that power data workflows and internal applications.
- Modern Data Stack: Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, Dagster, and cloud-based data infrastructure.
- Data Quality & Validation: Experience implementing monitoring, testing, validation, and anomaly detection processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Systems Design & Scalability: Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, maintainable architectures, and performance-focused system design.
- Ownership & Execution: Demonstrated ability to lead projects end-to-end, from technical design through implementation and ongoing optimization.
- Business Context Awareness: Ability to understand both the technical and business implications of data, enabling informed decision-making and problem-solving.
- Build and enhance the company's core data platform and infrastructure.
- Design and develop scalable data ingestion frameworks and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Develop APIs and integrations across internal and external systems.
- Improve data quality, validation, observability, and monitoring across critical financial datasets.
- Optimize platform performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Partner closely with engineering leadership and business stakeholders to solve complex data challenges.
