Overview
This role blends revenue cycle management (RCM) expertise with operational oversight of clinical workflows to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and financial health of Happy Health's practice.
Description
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of medical billing and claims, and the ability to coordinate across teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end revenue cycle, including insurance verification, claims submission, accounts receivable, and denial management.
- Supervise administrative staff, including receptionists and billing team members, to ensure efficient practice operations.
- Serve as Athena Superuser, supporting training, integrations, and system configurations.
- Manage payroll processes for Synaptrx and assist in consolidating operations with Happy Health.
- Track and report key financial metrics, collaborating with the Sr. Director of Clinical Operations on monthly business performance.
- Coordinate with sleep specialists, technicians, and equipment providers to streamline patient care.
- Oversee provider credentialing and licensing, including managing Modio to ensure all provider licenses are active and up to date.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize telehealth and billing workflows.
- Manage relationships with DME suppliers, large referrers, and strategic partners.
- Provide operational leadership during the integration of legacy practices into the Happy Health platform.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in revenue cycle management and medical billing (insurance verification, claims, AR).
- Strong operational and team management skills in a clinical or telehealth environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- High level proficiency in EHR and practice management systems (Athena experience preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Must reside in the United States.
Benefits:
- Salary range is $60,000 to $70,000 annually. Subject to change based on experience.
