The Role:

As a Franchise Coach, you’ll guide professionals who are considering franchise ownership. You’ll educate candidates on franchise models that fit their goals, facilitate introductions to franchisors, and support due diligence through to decision.

  • This is a 1099 independent contractor role with commissions based on successful placements. You’ll operate autonomously while using FranCoach’s proven framework, resources, and support team.

What You’ll Do:Candidate Coaching

  • Conduct introductory and coaching calls to clarify personal, financial, and lifestyle goals.
  • Educate candidates on franchise models, investment ranges, financing options, and ownership realities.
  • Guide candidates through due diligence: validation calls, FDD basics, unit economics, territory review, and funding pathways.

Pipeline & Process Management

  • Maintain an active pipeline from FranCoach leads and self-generated prospects.
  • Match qualified candidates to 3–5 aligned franchise concepts and coordinate introductions.
  • Keep timely notes, forecasts, and next steps within Zoho.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with franchisor development teams to ensure smooth candidate transitions and accurate information flow.
  • Facilitate connections with funding and resource partners as needed.

Compliance & Experience

  • Follow “The FranCoach Way” framework for ethical, transparent, and responsive coaching.
  • Uphold confidentiality and ensure world-class candidate experience throughout the process.

Ideal Experience & Skills

  • Strong phone presence and relationship-building ability; can quickly build trust and momentum.
  • 3+ years of experience in executive recruiting, consulting, or high-trust advisory sales, franchise development sales.
  • Proven track record managing long consultative sales cycles (60–180+ days).
  • Solid business acumen: able to discuss unit economics, ROI, and ramp timelines confidently.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and metrics-oriented; comfortable using CRM and reporting tools.
  • Empathetic communicator with high integrity and follow-through.

Tools Provided:

CRM & engagement platform • Zoom/Teams/Calendly • FranCoach coaching templates, scorecards, and due-diligence resources

Year 1 OTE: $100K+ potential.

Commissions are payable within 5 business days of FranCoach receiving funds and verifying documentation. Clawback applies if a deal is rescinded within the agreed window.

Contractors cover their own business expenses unless pre-approved in writing.

Contractor Status & Expectations:

This is a full-time-focus contractor role—success requires consistent, proactive engagement with candidates and franchisors.

Contractors maintain full independence over their schedules, methods, and work environment while delivering on defined outcomes.

Performance Benchmarks (for success guidance only):

  • 8+ qualified franchisor introductions per month
  • 25–40 active candidates in pipeline
  • 60%+ intro-to-2nd-call conversion
  • 20–30% intro-to-discovery-day rate
  • 4+ placements per quarter once ramped
  • Same-day responsiveness to candidates/franchisors
  • CRM updated within 24 hours of activity

These benchmarks guide success measurement but do not define work hours or supervision.
