Job Title: Financial Analyst

Position Overview
Flashii is seeking a Mid-Level Financial Analyst on behalf of one of our clients. This full-time, direct-hire position will support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and strategic business decisions.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in financial analysis, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to clearly communicate financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.
- Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and operational performance.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate departmental performance and spending.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Prepare financial presentations and summaries for leadership.
- Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Recommend improvements to reporting processes, financial controls, and analytical tools.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years or more of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or a related area.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, formulas, and financial modeling.
- Experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, or business intelligence tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to explain financial findings to non-finance stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Workday, or a similar platform.
- Experience supporting senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
- Experience working in a growing or fast-paced organization.
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or another relevant credential is a plus but not required.
