Role Description The Senior Director Finance is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic and operational decision-making. This role leads the preparation, review, and communication of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. The Senior Director Finance will develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes, monitor performance against targets, and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Daily responsibilities include guiding finance team members, improving financial systems and controls, partnering with cross-functional leaders on business initiatives, and supporting risk management, cash flow, and capital allocation decisions. The role also involves presenting financial results and scenarios to executive stakeholders and contributing to long-term financial strategy and organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Strong finance and analytical skills, including experience in Finance and Analytical Skills to support complex decision-making.
- Expertise in Financial Planning and forecasting, with a track record of managing budgets and long-range plans.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Financial Statements, with deep understanding of accounting principles.
- Experience in Financial Reporting, including consolidations, variance analysis, and executive-level presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA) is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing finance teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders in a remote or distributed environment.
- High level of proficiency with financial modeling tools, spreadsheets, and enterprise finance systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools).
- Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear recommendations.
