About the role

Marketing Strategist (Remote, Full-Time)

Compensation: $120,000–$150,000

About the Role

We're looking for a marketing strategist who also loves to build. You'll own the strategy behind our messaging, email marketing, and brand communication, and you'll execute it yourself. In this role, you'll help decide where marketing should go and why, and then make it happen with hands-on work and smart use of AI tools.

You'll shape how we communicate internally and externally through email and written content. Specific social media experience is a huge plus.

This is a full-time, dedicated position. We're looking for someone whose professional focus is entirely on our business, not a freelancer or consultant balancing other client commitments.

What You'll Do

  • Set marketing strategy and priorities in partnership with leadership, connecting campaigns directly to membership growth, lead generation, and event goals
  • Develop and own core messaging and positioning for internal and external audiences
  • Plan, build, and optimize email marketing campaigns (newsletters, nurture sequences, announcements, etc.) and the lead magnets that feed them
  • Own our GoHighLevel setup and design and manage marketing automations (email workflows, triggered campaigns, lead nurturing sequences)
  • Use AI tools to move faster across content creation, campaign development, and marketing operations
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, using data to guide strategy and improve results
  • Own internal marketing initiatives and keep messaging consistent across all channels
  • (Nice to have) Shape and manage social media presence and the content calendar

Must-Have Experience

  • Expert-led/coaching business experience: Background in marketing for coaching, consulting, or other high-ticket, founder-brand-driven programs, with a track record of building content authority
  • Strategic and hands-on: Proven ability to build a marketing strategy and personally execute it. You're as comfortable writing the email sequence as you are deciding why it should exist
  • Growth-oriented approach: Proven ability to drive membership sales, lead generation funnels, and event-based marketing
  • B2B niche marketing: Experience marketing services to a niche professional audience, ideally real estate, financial services, or another relationship-driven vertical
  • AI fluency: Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, or similar) in marketing workflows: copywriting, research, campaign ideation, etc.
  • Marketing and messaging expertise: Strong writing and messaging skills, with the ability to turn ideas into clear, compelling copy
  • Marketing automation experience: Hands-on experience building and managing automated email and marketing workflows
  • Keap or GoHighLevel familiarity (a plus): Prior experience with Keap, GoHighLevel, or comparable platforms is a strong plus, though not required
  • Strong team orientation: Experience on a small or lean marketing team, comfortable wearing multiple hats and working closely with leadership

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, including ownership of marketing strategy, not just execution
  • Dedicated focus: Available full-time, without competing client or freelance obligations
  • Self-starter, remote-first: Thrives working independently in a fully remote environment. Sets priorities, drives execution, and delivers without hand-holding
  • Exceptional written communicator: This is a message-heavy role, so your writing needs to be sharp, persuasive, and on-brand every time
  • Builds from zero: Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by building processes and systems from scratch where none exist
  • Data-driven decision maker: Uses data to rigorously evaluate what's working, and adjusts course quickly

Why This Role

This is a chance to set the direction of our marketing and messaging from the ground up. You'll have real ownership of strategy, email marketing, and automation, and room to grow into social media and broader brand initiatives as the function matures.
